CLAUTIERE VINEYARD
Enjoy the ‘Fun Side of Wine’
Neatly tucked into the oak studded hills of the Geneseo District of Paso Robles, Clautiere Vineyard has been charming guests with estate wines from this magical property since 1999. With the milder than normal summer that Paso Robles’ is enjoying, the gardens and walking paths surrounding the winery make Clautiere Vineyard an ideal location to relax in wine country. Intricate and whimsical metal
sculptures, created by Claudine Blackwell, grace the grounds and convey the vibrancy and art of the wine and people of Clautiere Vineyard. Stepping into the tasting room, the bright and friendly colors convey the notion of the “fun side of wine.” Visitors of all wine backgrounds can appreciate the enchanted atmosphere and of course, the luxurious wines.
New Releases from Clautiere
Clautiere Vineyard is well known for their flagship blend—Mon Beau Rouge—a Rhône blend, and their Rhône whites—such as the 2014 Estate Viogner and the 2014 Estate Rosé for refreshing summer sippers. A brand spanking new addition to the Clautiere portfolio is the sparkling wine, made in the traditional Méthode Champenoise out of estate grown Viogner. Sparkling wine has gained popularity in
recent years, with more and more local wineries producing their own versions! Consumers and industry professionals are loving this trend and wineries find it difficult to keep up with demand.

Award-Winning Wines
In addition to the new releases, Clautiere Vineyard is pleased to share some recent accolades to add to their already extensive list of awards. The well regarded 2015 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition offered a Best of Class for the 2012 Estate Viognier and a Gold for the 2011 Estate Syrah. The 2015 San Diego International Wine Competition granted the Estate Reserve Grenache 92 points, and best
Grenache! Not to be outdone, the 2011 Estate Syrah received 90 points and a Gold medal. Can’t forget about the Bordeaux’s—the 2011 Estate Bordeaux won a Double Gold in the 2015 Cabernet Shootout.
